The first school in LaOtto was held on the second floor of what was used by
Harlan's Hardware during the 1940's.
The building shown in the school graphics was constructed in 1917, and it housed all 12
grades until 1937.
From 1937 until 1965 the first eight grades were taught in LaOtto.
A new building was then constructed to accommodate the first five
grades. The old brick building was purchased and used by the Wesleyan Church
until its 1992 date with the wrecking ball. A listing of all graduates and the year they graduated follows.
